Visitors attend WJA Trade Show 2025 ready to learn and buy

Seeing water jetting equipment before you buy and the opportunity to pick the brains of industry experts were just two of the reasons visitors valued attending WJA Trade Show 2025.

The wide range of products, services and new ideas on display at the UK’s only water jetting exhibition also impressed those attending the show at StoneX, North London, on Thursday 11th September.

Visitors came from across the UK, with some also travelling from the Continent and the Middle East, to attend WJA Trade Show 2025, organised by the Water Jetting Association.

WJA Trade Show 2025 ‘the place to be’

The event combined an indoor hall with stands displaying equipment and services from across all industrial sectors, including drainage, industrial cleaning, hydrodemolition and petrochemicals, with two outdoor display areas for specialist vehicles and large machines.

The WJA team was also on hand to discuss the benefits of WJA membership, its City & Guilds accredited training programme, and the WJA codes of practice, which underpin water jetting standards.

WJA Chairman Lee O’Callaghan said: “We were really pleased with the visitor feedback we were getting on the day. It was just what we wanted to hear, that it was an enjoyable and useful experience.

“It proved the point that we had something for everyone. Whether you wanted to see and hear about what’s new in the industry or you were eager to buy new equipment, the trade show was the place to be.”

A ‘great set-up’ for constantly learning

George Stevens, Director of exterior cleaning specialist Roundhouse UK, was attending the show with members of his team to research a move into delivering drainage services.

He said: “We’re just entering the drainage market, so we’ve come to buy a few things. It’s a great set up. A lot of people use the internet nowadays but they’re not presented with a full array of what’s available.

“There’s everything from a nozzle to a hydrodemolition machine, and you have it all in front of you. So as you walk around you can speak to people, and you’re constantly learning. It’s much better.”

Clive Reynolds, Technical and Compliance Manager at industrial cleaning contractor Altrad Environmental Services, a WJA members, said: “The

trade show has been a fantastic place to meet suppliers and industry colleagues, to see new ways of working and share ideas.”

Good to meet people and see products

Ben Thorne, Franchise Business Manager at national drainage specialist Dalrod UK, was also on a mission to see what is new in the water jetting industry.

He said: “I met some new people and had some good conversations with equipment suppliers. There was some new technology I was also glad I had the chance to see. It made for an enjoyable and productive day.”

Michael Ward, owner of MW Services, in Kent, was also looking to buy new equipment. “I want some new nozzles and they’ve got some good suppliers here,” he said: “It’s good to see faces and look at the products in person.”

Visitor Matthew Burnham, from cleaning firm Jet Flow Pro, was particularly impressed with a wall-climbing jetting robot displayed by Dutch water jetting equipment manufacturer Derc Salotech.

He said: “It’s interesting to see the level of technology, especially the robotic systems we’ve seen demonstrated, like the one that can climb up the side of a building.

“We may not be at that level, but from a technical angle it’s interesting. But we’ve been growing, doing a lot more emergency work. So, you never know, maybe in the future we will have one of those robots.”
